FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

Before contacting us, have a look at some frequently asked questions below. You might find the answers you’re looking for !

We are located in Longueuil (Quebec), Canada. Just a few minutes from Montreal.

Ideally, a puppy’s new family will drive up or fly in to pick him up as this is the least stressful for him.

If that isn’t a possibility, I also offer to hand deliver the puppy to you for a cost.

If that is not an option financially, the puppy can also be shipped cargo for a fee of approximately 400,00$ USD, depending on where he is flying to, but this remains a last resort as it can be pretty stressful on any dog and especially a young puppy and will also depend on the distance the puppy is flying. We reserve the right to refuse a cargo flight to certain locations, namely if the flight duration is too high.

A puppy will cost between 3 000$ and 3 500$ CAD depending on the quality of the puppy. At that price, the puppy is sold on a spay/neuter contract, which is an additional cost to consider as we require this be done between 5 and 7 months of age.

If you are interested in acquiring a puppy with breeding rights, price will vary between 4 500$ and 6 000$ CAD, also depending on quality.

Don’t forget the cost of transportation, vet checkup and the puppy’s follow-up vaccinations.

The first step is sending in a Puppy Application, so I can get to know you and your family and what you’re looking for. I will then contact you with additional questions if I have any.

The next step is putting down a deposit to get on the Waiting List as I very rarely have puppies readily available. The wait period for a puppy is about 1 year currently. The wait for a white female might be longer.

I only ask for a 50$ deposit to be added to the waiting list, which isn’t much, but enough to show me you are serious about buying one of my puppies. This deposit is not refundable but is applied to the purchase price of your puppy.

Unfortunately, this is not a possibility. I don’t allow any visits until the puppies have had their first vaccinations at 8 weeks old, solely for health and safety purposes. I’ve never lost a puppy to parvovirus but have heard of breeders who have lost entire liters to it, and that is what I am so far successfully avoiding with the no visit policy.

I do try my best to make up for that by providing tons of photos and videos to prospective buyers and confirmed families, which has always worked very well in allowing them to pick the right puppy for them.

Most importantly, your puppy comes with health guarantees ! He comes with a 48-hour guarantee against certain diseases as well as a 1-year health guarantee against any genetic issues that may arise. Have a look at our contracts on the Contracts page for more details.

The puppy will also come with

  • CKC registration (Canadian Kennel Club)
  • Microchip
  • Collar
  • Blanket with his littermate and his mother’s scent
  • Complete vet exam at 8 weeks old
  • First vaccinations and dewormer
  • Lifetime breeder support and daycare service at low cost
  • Pee-pad potty training started at 4 weeks old.
  • Royal Canin food sample to ease transition if switching to a different food brand.

The term teacup is used by backyard breeders wanting to charge big money for a tiny dog that most likely than not, will end up with lots of health issues.

The Canadian pomeranian standard on weight is between 3 and 7 pounds. My puppies generally grow up to weigh in this weight range. Weight is not something any breeder can guarantee. You can try to guess based off the parents’ weight and weight charts but that’s the best anyone can do. If you won’t love your puppy no matter the size it ends up being, my puppy is not the right one for you.
